The comedian who spoke during a visit to Nasibo’s mother’s home in Jamhuri, Nairobi, revealed that Nasibo had been flown to a health facility in Nairobi and booked to undergo rehabilitation.

While issuing an update on the matter, Omondi dismissed claims that the former journalist was homeless and called on Kenyans to exercise sensitivity towards the matter.

“As I am speaking to you, Nasibo is safe and has been flown to a rehabilitation centre with the help of the brother," Eric Omondi detailed. She is fine and will be fine but we needed to know what happened because when I saw the video, there were varying stories about her situation."Eric Omondi

The comedian added that he had been updated on Nasibo's situation by her mum and urged Kenyans to keep the former journalist in their prayers.

Nasibo's mum also reassured everyone, saying, "She's already checked into rehab. That video made rounds, but she's okay. She's not homeless, she had a home."

Omondi's latest action comes just a day after a viral time-lapse video showed the ex-Nation Media Group journalist struggling on the streets.
